Airnova is a company specialising in the artisanal production of leather used in Italian-made designer furniture.

To move products between multiple sites in order to complete the production process, while optimising transport costs and storage space.
Project Steel solution
We built a custom-sized container with closable sides.
The container was also equipped with containment poles around the sides to prevent materials falling out. To ensure safety during lifting, four plates were welded to the base to allow entry of the truck forks and prevent overturning.

The sides can be closed inside the base thanks to a bolted-on hinge system. This reduces the container’s total height from 2 m to just 40 cm.
The stacking system used for product storage features square profiles, welded at the base and made from cold-rolled sheets, made using moulds and equipment owned by Project Steel.
